Screen Printing at
S & E Services

Screen printing, or silkscreening, at it's most basic, is applying an image to a surface using a stencil, which is supported by a fine mesh screen. Each color used in a design requires its own stencil, or screen. Colors are printed one at a time, until the image is complete.

Screen printed t-shirts have long been a popular form of advertising and promotion. Custom imprints on sweatshirts and hoodies are effective as well. Screen printing is the decorating option of choice for many garment styles.

The screen printing process allows us to simulate blending colors, and to maintain a certain amount of detail in the design, as well as producing large areas of consistent, solid color. Lines are straight and edges are crisp. We can even introduce certain textures to the finish. Set-up and production is pretty much the same whether the design area is large or small, so the size of a design is limited by the printing equipment, not the budget.
